Pineapple Juice Semen Myth

Many of our web guests and visitors have sent us emails in an attempt to find out if the pineapple juice semen myth is true. We decided to do a little research around the web, and see what information we could find on the subject. We also asked a doctor friend as well. Our conclusion is that it is indeed true. If you consume large amounts of pineapple juice, your sperm and sweat will taste much sweeter than normal, that is if you venture to find out of course. Consuming large amounts of pineapple juice raises the acid levels in the body, in addition to the sugar levels. The body will use only what it needs within the pineapple juice, and then much of it will be excreted as waste through sweating, urinating, and other normal bodily functions. I won't go so far as to say give it a try if you would like to prove it for yourself, that is solely your own choice.

Believe it or not, many of the foods you eat will dramatically affect your smell, taste, etc. Like the old saying goes, you are what you eat. One such negative example of this fact of life, is if you consume large volumes of milk, yogurt, or other dairy products, your sweat will take on a very sour smell, part of which has to do with it souring in the digestive system. Other much more pleasant examples of this fact, are when you eat large amounts of fruits, such as kiwis, oranges, lemons, green apples, or berries, all of which will sweeten your smell. Just like cigarette smokers often cannot detect the foul odor their body emits, supposedly this is also the case with individual who eat meat, and then hang out around vegans. Supposedly individuals who eat meat have a clearly distinguishable smell, however uncomfortable that fact is.

Our bodies are very porous, and very heavily influenced by the foods we eat. Sometimes it's easy to forget this fact, and simply think of ourselves as sort of standing apart from our individual diets, as if we process all of these foods to the same effect. This is obviously not the case, as the pineapple juice example shows. Humans have quite a weak sense of smell compared to many species throughout the animal kingdom, and in most cases diet does affect how animals interact with each other, especially if an off the beaten path food choice is consumed. I suppose it's evolution's way of warning us not to hang out with people or animals who might not be practicing the healthiest dietary choices. Individuals or animals who practice proper dietary practices, will naturally smell better to whoever or whatever happens to live or interact with them, and rewards follow.

So there you have it, the myth is no myth at all. Pineapple juice will affect how your semen or sperm, sweat, or mucus will taste. What you do with that information is strictly up to you, and we are in no way encouraging a taste test. If you have any further question regarding this subject that you would like answers to, then please feel free to send us an email. A friend of mine is a doctor, and though he doesn't officially endorse any of the information I publish, he is available nonetheless to answer light questions anonymously, and off the record. We've tried to keep this article fairly biologically based, and sincerely hope it's publishing on our website hasn't offended anyone. If you are offended by this article, please let us know, so that we can make any changes where necessary, as we hope to create a website that everyone can enjoy.
